I had the great pleasure to visit the laboratory and the shop of Cuseco Art, 6 fantastic women who through their work is self-sustaining.
Founded in January 2008, Arte Cuseco was formed by the Association of Women Artisans in Villa Padre Nuestro, a community located at the east coast of the Dominican Repubblic near Benerito, La Altagracia between La Romana and Bayahibe.
Design and handcraft a varied range of custom jewelry like rings, bracelets, earrings and more, whice is 100% handmade, ensuring that each creation is unique.
Material used: coconut, local seeds, seashells, suede, bull horn, glass and others, natural elements used with so much creativity.

Believes that artisan work is closely linked to the appreciation of local culture and tradition. The revenue generated directly impact the quality of life of the members of the community by providing resources and training.
In addition to see them while they do their work and buy the magnificent schemes done, you can not miss the workshops to design and create your own jewelry.
